Kirk was born and raised in Columbus, Indiana, just south of Indianapolis. He started with CSNS as a student nurse in 1995 after returning home from the Army where he was a medic in the Rangers. He has since completed his undergraduate degree and Master of Science Degree from Indiana University School of Nursing. Kirk was awarded his Nurse Practitioner's license in the Fall of 2003 and is a surgical assistant to Dr. Schooler . He is a member of American Association of Neuroscience Nurses and the Sigman Theta Tau International Honors Society of Nursing. Kirk enjoys golf and can always be found on a golf course on warm and sunny weekends.
