Dr. Schooler's dedication to patient care and passion for professional excellence started early in her life. Following graduation as the Class of 1978's Valedictorian from Whiting High School, in her northwest Indiana home city of Whiting, Dr. Schooler obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University School of Pharmacy in 1983 and became a practicing licensed pharmacist in Indiana. During her four years of medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Schooler worked as a hospital pharmacist part-time, to help pay tuition and to maintain her pharmacy clinical skills, until graduation with the Doctor of Medicine degree in 1987.
Stephen Kirk Douglas, MSN, ACNP; Kirk was born and raised in Columbus, Indiana, just south of Indianapolis. He started with CSNS as a student nurse in 1995 after returning home from the Army where he was a medic in the Rangers.
